Finally, Nikon enter the mirrorless market. They just announced a brand new mirrorless system : two new cameras and three compatible lenses. The first camera is Nikon V1 that comes with new ‘CX’ format 10MP CMOS sensor. The camera intended for enthusiast photographer , comes with magnesium alloy body and 1.4M dot EVF. The V1 will be available around october for $899 ( with 10-30mm kit lens )
The second camera is Nikon J1. It’s more compact and less expensive than the V1. The Nikon J1 features the same CX format sensor with 10MP, full HD movie and will be available for $650 ( with 10-30mm kit lens ).
