Three days ago, Canon has announced its latest entry-level DSLR camera : the Canon 1100D / T3 (north america). Both camera are on same level here ( entry-level DSLR ) , so i guess it’s OK to compare them. Please note that this is specs comparisons. There are other factors to consider if you want to pick the better camera : image quality , ISO performances, AF speed etc
Along with Canon EOS 600D/T3i, Canon also has announced their latest entry-level DSLR camera aimed for first-time users : the Canon EOS 1100D or known as Canon T3 in North America. Designed to be the Canon EOS 1000D successor , the camera has 12 megapixels sensor , 2.7 inch LCD with 230K dots, new iFCL metering system ,9 wide AF points , HD video 720p, and new Feature Guide. The 1100D now comes in three colours: a cherry red, gunmetal silver and standard black plastic finish
The Canon 1100D / Rebel T3 should be available in early April 2011 priced at £419.00 body only, £499.00 with the new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens, and £459.00 with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III lens.
