The Panasonic Lumix GF3 is available for pre-order at Amazon. From the press release, we learn that the camera will be priced at $700 ( with 14mm lens ) and $599 ( 14-42mm lens ). The GF3 will be available in four different colors : Black, White, Brown and Pink. Estimate availability for shipping is around August 2011.

After series of rumors, Panasonic finally announces the Lumix GF3 , the company’s another compact and light interchangeable micro four third lens camera. Weight only 7.83oz ( without lens) , once again Panasonic prove that they’re targeting market that were looking for lighter compact camera but with DSLR image quality. And with same touchscreen concept and iA technology that borrowed and improved from Lumix GF2 , the camera is easy to use especially for beginner.
The Lumix GF3 is compatible with other Micro Four Thirds lenses and the full sized Four Thirds System standard via an optional mount adaptor. The Panasonic LUMIX GF3 will be available in black, white, red and brown bodies for a suggested retail prices of $699.99 with the 14mm lens kit system starting in July 2011, and $599.99 with the 14-42mm lens kit system starting in late August 2011.
