Goodbye Nikon D5000 ?
BHPhotoVideo mention in their website that Nikon D5000 is no longer available. The flag “Discontinued” has been put on the Nikon D5000 sales page. It means that the manufacturer (Nikon) has stop producing and shipping the camera.
Looks like Nikon is preparing for D5000 successor , D5100 perhaps ? I think the D5100 will be more like Nikon D3100 with swivel display. I know some people prefer camera without swivel display so it’s best if Nikon make two versions of it.And to minimize confusion about new camera, why not using simpler model name , like Nikon D3100s ( s stands for swivel ) :D
So far , there is not much rumors/info on Nikon D5000 successor. Next year .. maybe
