Nikon D7000 firmware update to reduce hot pixels

Nikon just published a firmware update for Nikon D7000 DSLR. The update claim able to reduce the number of hot pixels that happen when user records video or using liveview on dark objects.

Bright spots were sometimes noticeable with live view mode or movie recording of especially dark scenes or subjects.  Occurrence of this issue has been reduced.

Nikon D7000 firmware upgrades to minimize hot pixels problem

Nikon announces that they’re working on Nikon D7000 firmware upgrades to solve problems with hot pixels. Several D7000 owners has reported occurence of hot pixels when recording videos in dark areas or subjects. Some people says it’s normal to have the pixels but some are not. Several owners has returned their camera back to Nikon for fixing.
